The SemegaChange Senegal Summit is a STEM-focused initiative advancing technical education and closing the global gender gap in STEM. Through hands-on workshops and mentorship from women leaders — including volunteers from the United States — participants gain the skills, exposure, and global connections needed to thrive in STEM fields.

EmpowerHer, by the Africa Children’s Foundation, supports girls’ education by sending low-income girls to school through sponsorships, after a successful pilot in Senegal, it’s expanding to Ghana with SemegaChange.

SemegaChange and StemInAfrica are partnering together offer support to girls in STEM in Nigeria. Our mission is to empower and encourage young girls in Nigeria interested in STEM, providing them with a head start in learning about different STEM fields and increasing the number of STEM professionals in Africa as a whole.The program will be held virtually during the summer, with participants from the U.S. and U.K.
