Through hands-on workshops and mentorship from women leaders — including volunteers from the United States — participants gain the skills, exposure, and global connections needed to thrive in STEM fields.

EmpowerHer, by the Africa Children’s Foundation, supports girls’ education by sending low-income girls to school through sponsorships, after a successful pilot in Senegal, it’s expanding to Ghana with SemegaChange.

Our mission is to empower and encourage young girls in Nigeria interested in STEM, providing them with a head start in learning about different STEM fields and increasing the number of STEM professionals in Africa as a whole.The program will be held virtually during the summer, with participants from the U.S. and U.K.
